Early Years Nursery Practitioner

Position: Early Years Nursery PractitionerLocation: BristolWorking Pattern: Flexible - Full-Time, Part-Time, Ad Hoc, Short-Term & Long-Term Opportunities AvailablePay: £15.75 - £17.55 per hour

Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Years professional looking for flexibility around your lifestyle? We are currently seeking enthusiastic Early Years Nursery Practitioners to support a range of nursery settings across Bristol.

As an Early Years Nursery Practitioner, you'll play a vital role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing within high-quality nursery settings. You'll help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

• Deliver outstanding care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
\n
• Support children's learning through play and planned activities.
\n
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
\n
• Observe and record children's development and achievements.
\n
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are maintained at all times.
\n
• Promote a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
\n
• Support children's emotional, social, and physical development.
\n

\n
• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
\n
• Previous experience working within a nursery or childcare setting.
\n
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
\n
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
\n
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
\n
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
\n
• Must have access to your own transport and be willing to travel to nursery settings across Bristol and surrounding areas.
\n
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is mandatory, or you must be willing to obtain one through Prospero.
\n
• A minimum of 24 months' referencing history is required.
\n
• Paediatric First Aid certification is mandatory.
\n
