Food and Nutrition Teacher - Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire - temp to permanent role (Sept 2026)

A well-established secondary academy in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire is seeking an experienced Food and Nutrition Teacher to start in September on an ongoing, temp to permanent basis. Paying the new 3.5% uplifted MPS (or UPS) rates from day 1 this is an exciting role with full teaching responsibilities at a diverse and vibrant secondary School.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging and practical Food and Nutrition lessons across KS3-KS4
\n
• Inspiring students to achieve their personal best within a supportive learning environment
\n
• Planning and assessing in line with the department's established schemes of work
\n
• Contributing to the sustaining and enhancing of the Design & Technology Department
\n

Requirements for 'Food and Nutrition Teacher' role:

• Qualified Teacher Status (desirable)
\n
• Experience teaching Food and Nutrition at Secondary level (essential)
\n
• Commitment to supporting all learners, including those with additional needs
\n
• Enhanced DBS Checked, on Update Service (or willing to apply)
\n
• A full employment and educational history
\n
• Reliably commutable to Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
\n
