\nTradewind Recruitment is partnering with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Barnet seeking to appoint a dedicated School Administrator from September 2026. This full-time role is ideal for individuals with proven school-based administrative experience who are confident using MIS systems to support attendance, student records, communication, and day-to-day school operations.

The Role\nAs a School Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and organisational support across the school, ensuring systems and processes run efficiently.
\nYour responsibilities will include:

- Managing and updating student records using school Management Information Systems (MIS) such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or equivalent \n
- Supporting attendance monitoring, registers, and daily attendance processes \n
- Producing reports, data extracts, and documentation for senior leaders and pastoral teams \n
- Handling inbound and outbound school communications (phone calls, emails, and letters) \n
- Supporting safeguarding, pastoral, and attendance teams with accurate record keeping \n
- Maintaining confidential student and staff information in line with GDPR and school policies \n
- Assisting with admissions, enrolment, and student transition processes \n
- Supporting general office duties including filing, scheduling, and coordination tasks \n
- Liaising with parents, carers, staff, and external agencies in a professional manner \n
- Ensuring smooth daily operation of administrative systems and processes across the school \n
The school is seeking a reliable, organised, and proactive individual with strong administrative experience in a school setting.

- Proven experience working in a secondary school administrative role (essential) \n
- Strong experience using school MIS systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or similar) \n
- Excellent IT, data entry, and record-keeping skills \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills \n
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail \n
- Good understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality in a school environment \n
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a busy office environment \n
