EstimatorLocation: LeicesterSalary: £30,000 - £34,000Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Based Cherry Professional are delighted to be working with a well-established manufacturing business in Leicester to recruit an Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator who enjoys working within a fast-paced technical environment and wants genuine long-term career progression.You'll be responsible for producing estimates and quotations across a diverse range of construction products, interpreting drawings, liaising with customers and supporting the external sales team to win new business opportunities.Responsibilities\n

• Preparing estimates and quotations from customer enquiries
\n
• Producing technical take-offs from construction drawings
\n
• Liaising with customers to gather project information
\n
• Managing urgent quotation requests and fast turnaround times
\n
• Working closely with sales teams and manufacturing departments
\n
• Identifying additional sales opportunities within projects
\n
• Ensuring quotations are commercially competitive and profitable
\n
• Maintaining accurate pricing and customer records
\n

The Ideal Candidate\n

\n
• Previous estimating experience is essential
\n
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings
\n
• Commercially aware with strong numerical skills
\n
• Confident communicating with customers and colleagues
\n
• Strong Excel skills
\n
• Experience within roofing, cladding, rainwater systems, fabrication, construction products or building envelope sectors would be advantageous
\n
• Sage experience would be beneficial but is not essential
\n
