We are seeking a dynamic Business Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in Lancaster starting in September. This role is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of the curriculum, effective communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

\n
• Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Business Studies to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous.
\n
• Utilise strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students.
\n
• Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
\n
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
\n
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the teaching environment and educational experience.
\n
• Participate in and organise extracurricular activities, such as outings, social activities and sporting events.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
• Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
\n
• Recent and relevant experience teaching Business Studies at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 experience is beneficial.
\n
• Excellent classroom practitioner with robust classroom management skills.
\n
• Reliable, committed, and capable of working with students to foster learning.
\n
• Demonstrates qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.
\n
• Good interpersonal skills, punctuality, and patience when working with children.
\n
