\nPenguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their growing team in Birmingham.

THE ROLE\nAs an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out asbestos surveys across a wide range of client sites throughout Birmingham and the surrounding region.
\nWorking independently and with the support of an experienced operations team, you will deliver high-quality surveying services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n* Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264* Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a variety of property types* Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports* Working across commercial, industrial, domestic, and public sector properties* Managing your own workload and daily schedule efficiently* Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams* Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\n* BOHS P402 qualification (essential)* Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS-accredited consultancy* Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation* Full UK driving licence* Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills* Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work
