We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive Primary SEN School in Bolton for a September start. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children who have a range of additional needs, helping them to develop academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The Role\n

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs.
  • \n
  • Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging, personalised learning activities.
  • \n
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils reach their individual goals.
  • \n
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
  • \n
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • \n
  • Help create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • \n
The Ideal Candidate\n

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have experience working with children, ideally within an SEN, education, care, or support setting.
  • \n
  • Are patient, compassionate, and committed to helping every child succeed.
  • \n
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • \n
  • Are adaptable, proactive, and resilient.
  • \n
  • Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
  • \n
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • \n
