Primary Teacher (Years 3-6) - SEN Specialist (Autism Focus)Location: Radlett, HertfordshireStart Date: September 2026

A fantastic opportunity has opened for an enthusiastic and skilled Primary Teacher to join a highly supportive SEN school in Radlett, Hertfordshire. This position begins in September 2026, initially on a temporary basis, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent after the first term.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • \n
  • Previous experience in Primary, EYFS, or SEN settings
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of Autism and effective strategies to support pupils with additional needs
  • \n
  • Skilled in classroom and behaviour management
  • \n
  • Passionate about delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to each child
  • \n
  • A reflective, resilient, and collaborative practitioner
  • \n

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach small groups of pupils in Years 3-6, adapting lessons to meet a range of learning needs
  • \n
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom for pupils with Autism
  • \n
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants to deliver consistent, high-quality support
  • \n
  • Monitor and track progress, setting achievable, individualised goals
  • \n
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and help shape specialist SEN provision in Radlett
  • \n
