Mig Welder

We are currently recruiting MIG Welders to join our client, a UK leading provider of sheet metal engineering and fabrication services located in Hixon, ST18 Staffordshire. These roles are long-term opportunities and candidates generally get set on permanently after 12 weeks pending a satisfactory probation period. Immediate start dates are available. * Weld tests available immediately * 3 shift options are available, it is your choice. MIG Welder key job details: * 6am-2.30pm Monday to Friday (mornings) * OR * 14:30-23:00, Monday to Friday (noons) * OR * 06:00 to 18:00, 4on4off (Continental day shift) * Pay rates: Mornings: £14.43, Noons: £15.36ph, Conti days: £16.23ph * Weekly pay and overtime paid at a premium MIG Welder key responsibilities: * MIG welding various materials, predominantly mild steel * Jig work * Basic fabrication duties * Bulk of work is on 1mm to 4mm, but can range up to 20mm * Comply with health and safety regulations MIG Welder person specification: * Previous welding experience is essential * Must be able to correctly set-up own welding machine for the various works required * Good English (reading / verbal) is required * Comfortable working on your feet in a fast paced environment * Own transport is essential If you're interested in this MIG Welder vacancy, please apply by clicking the apply now button or by contacting Ian at IAP Recruitment
