As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will act as the commercial conscience of the delivery team, providing expert cost and commercial support across a range of complex civil engineering projects. Working closely with project managers, site teams, and key stakeholders, you’ll play a vital role in controlling costs, maximising value, managing risk, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and successfully. Key Responsibilities * Manage all aspects of commercial and cost management across allocated projects or programmes of work * Lead robust cost control processes, ensuring accurate reporting, forecasting, and commercial analysis * Provide commercial insight to support key project decisions and drive successful outcomes * Ensure project teams understand contractual obligations and commercial requirements * Work collaboratively with delivery teams to identify and implement efficiency improvements * Monitor project performance, manage risk, and support value improvement initiatives * Maintain accurate records, including project accounts and final accounts, ensuring audit and assurance requirements are met * Support compliance with internal governance, contractual obligations, and client requirements About You We’re looking for an experienced and commercially driven Senior Quantity Surveyor who thrives in a collaborative project environment and enjoys making a tangible impact on delivery.
