Fabricator Welder

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator / Welder to join a well-established engineering company in Derby. The Role As a Sheet Metal Fabricator / Welder, you'll play a key role in manufacturing components for automated parts handling systems. You'll be involved in the fabrication and welding of bespoke sheet metal products, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. Key Responsibilities * TIG and MIG welding of sheet metal components. * Fabrication using press brakes, guillotines, rollers and other workshop equipment. * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. * Producing high-quality fabricated assemblies to specification. * Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines. * Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment. What We're Looking For * Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator / Welder. * Strong TIG and MIG welding skills. * Experience operating press brakes, guillotines, rollers and similar fabrication machinery. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * A proactive approach with the confidence to suggest improvements where appropriate. * High attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work. * Reliable team player with a positive attitude. Hours * Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm * Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm * Some flexibility with working hours is available. What's On Offer * £19.00 per hour PAYE. * Ltd Company option available at an enhanced rate. * Overtime paid at 1.5x. * Friendly and supportive working environment. * Contract or Temp-to-Perm opportunities. * Immediate start available.
