SEMH Support Staff – STEM College, Norwich Location: Norwich, Norfolk Start Date: September Pay: £100 per day or £16.66 per hour We are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Support Staff to join our team at a specialist STEM centre in Norwich. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people aged 6–16 years with their education and personal development in a supportive learning environment. The Role The role will involve: * Providing 1:1 support for individual students. * Working as a Classroom Assistant, supporting small groups of up to 12 pupils. * Helping students with their learning, emotional wellbeing, and engagement. * Working closely with teaching staff to create a positive and inclusive environment. Work is available from 1 to 5 days per week, depending on Norfolk County Council contracts, Centre requirements, and school needs. Essential Requirements Applicants must: * Have experience working with children and young people aged 6–16 in the UK. * Have knowledge and understanding of supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEH) needs. * Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the DBS Update Service. * Have the right to work in the UK. * Be reliable, patient, and committed to making a positive difference.
