M&E Manager

We are seeking a proactive and technically strong M&E Manager (Mechanical Bias) to join a site-based project team on a high-end residential development in West London. This role requires a strong blend of hands-on site experience and the ability to manage mechanical design coordination, technical documentation, and site compliance, ensuring smooth delivery between design and construction stages. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate mechanical design activities on site Review, manage, and submit technical submittals, RFIs, and design documentation Ensure approved drawings are implemented correctly and in a timely manner Liaise closely with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure alignment Oversee and manage all mechanical documentation and reporting Maintain records using electronic document control platforms (e.g. Aconex, SharePoint, ACC, Smartsheet) Support site delivery by ensuring compliance with design, programme, and quality requirements Candidate Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Manager role Strong technical knowledge with proven site-based experience Experience working on high-end residential or similar construction projects Confident user of systems such as: Aconex SharePoint Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Smartsheet or similar platforms Ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate between design and site teams Clear, confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills Personal Attributes Early to mid-career professional (important) Proactive, practical, and solutions-focused mindset Well-organised with strong attention to detail Able to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment Collaborative team player
