Cover Supervisors – Luton & Dunstable & Harpenden Keep Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Luton & Dunstable & Harpenden. Role Description As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes when teachers are absent, ensuring pupils remain engaged, on task, and safe. You will work with pre-prepared lesson materials and provide support to teaching staff while maintaining a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities • Supervise classes according to the school’s lesson plans • Maintain positive behaviour and follow school policies • Support pupils with learning as directed • Assist teaching staff with administrative tasks where required • Ensure the welfare and safety of all pupils • Communicate effectively with school staff and your Keep Education consultant Experience • Previous experience working in a school or with children • Experience managing groups of pupils effectively • Familiarity with classroom routines and behaviour management Skills • Strong classroom management and organisational skills • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Reliability and flexibility • Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different school environments • Professionalism and a positive attitude Why Join Keep Education?
