Warehouse Team Leader

Are you an experienced team leader eager to take charge of a busy night shift in a fast-paced warehouse environment? This temporary to permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills while working with a well-established logistics and distribution company. You will be responsible for looking after a small team, training new staff and managing rotas. Why you’ll love this role: * Opportunity to move from temporary to permanent employment after 12 weeks * Lead and motivate a dedicated night shift team within a supportive environment * Develop your operational and leadership skills in a dynamic logistics setting * Work for a recognised company with clear progression routes Pay & Shifts: * £16.62 per hour (£34,500 per annum) * Sunday to Thursday * 22:00pm to 07:00am What you’ll be doing: * Leading and motivating the night shift team to meet daily targets * Training new and existing staff in line with company standards * Managing rotas and resource planning for smooth operations * Delegating tasks to maximise productivity * Ensuring safe operation of forklift trucks * Overseeing receipt, picking, and dispatch of goods to tight deadlines What we’re looking for: * Proven team leader or supervisory experience in logistics or warehousing * Strong organisational and communication skills * Ability to manage and develop a night shift team * Forklift truck experience highly desirable Aligra have been established since 2007 and have since implemented supply partnerships with a number of the UK’s leading logistics companies.
