This is a full-time opportunity offering a salary of £31,300, working within a design-led practice focused on delivering a high level of patient care and eyewear styling. The business is part of a growing group of independent Opticians, combining traditional craftsmanship with a fresh, contemporary approach to optics. Working with high quality eyewear and ZEISS lenses, this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Dispensing Optician who enjoys building lasting relationships with patients and providing a truly personalised dispensing experience. Please note, applicants must be a qualified Dispensing Optician, GOC registered, with the right to work in the UK. Applications without the required qualifications will not be considered. Dispensing Optician - Role Deliver a high standard of patient care and customer service throughout the dispensing journey Provide expert dispensing advice, recommending the most appropriate frames, lenses and lens options Work with premium eyewear collections and ZEISS lenses Explain prescriptions and lens technologies clearly, ensuring patients feel confident in their choices Carry out accurate fittings, adjustments and aftercare to the highest standard Build long-term relationships with patients through outstanding service Support the day-to-day running of the practice alongside the wider team Maintain high standards of presentation and visual merchandising Contribute to a positive team culture and help deliver an exceptional customer experienceDispensing Optician - Requirements Qualified Dispensing Optician with current GOC registration Passion for delivering outstanding patient care and personalised dispensing Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong attention to detail and a professional approach Interest in premium eyewear and lens technology Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well within a close-knit teamSalary & Benefits Salary of £31,300 Annual bonus scheme Full-time role, including weekends on a rota basis Typical working hours are 9.30am to 6.30pm (11.00am to 5.00pm on Sundays) Opportunity to join a growing independent optical business Staff discounts and additional company benefitsIf you're a qualified Dispensing Optician looking to join a forward-thinking independent practice in Cambridge, we'd love to hear from you.
