Mechanical Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a major residential project in Birmingham on a short-term contract basis. This role will focus primarily on quality assurance, ensuring all mechanical installations meet required standards and project specifications. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and carry out QA inspections of mechanical installations across the project * Ensure all work complies with current regulations, standards, and project requirements * Identify and report defects, ensuring timely resolution * Maintain accurate QA documentation and reports * Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and project management * Support commissioning and handover processes where required Requirements: * Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on large residential or similar projects * Strong knowledge of QA processes and mechanical compliance standards * Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) * SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred * Excellent attention to detail and communication skills * Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines Contract Details: * Short-term contract * Competitive day rate (dependent on experience) * Immediate start available To Apply Please send up to date CVs for the Mechanical Supervisor role
