Summer-Browning Associates is building a talent pool of experienced Commercial, Procurement and Contract Management professionals for upcoming Resource Augmentation opportunities across the public sector. We're keen to hear from professionals at who have worked as interims in roles equivalent to civil service grades (HEO, SEO and Grade 7+) for a range of exciting commercial assignments. Contract Details: Location: Primarily London / Hybrid Contract: 6-12 months with extension potential Rates: £400-£750 per day (Inside IR35) Security Clearance: Active SC clearance is highly desirableWe're looking for experience across: Commercial Management Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Contract & Supplier Management Category Management Commercial Delivery Commercial Assurance & Governance Commercial Data, Spend & Performance Analysis Grants & Funding Commercials Procurement Transformation & Capability Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)Categories include: Digital, Data & Technology (DDaT) Technology & Cloud Services Facilities Management Corporate & Professional Services Estates General Goods & Services Business Change & Transformation Major ProjectsWe'd like to hear from candidates with experience in: End-to-end public sector procurement, sourcing and commercial lifecycle management Developing commercial strategies, business cases and sourcing options Contract negotiation, supplier performance and contract management Commercial governance, assurance, risk management and audit readiness Procurement Act 2023, Public Contracts Regulations (PCR 2015) and wider public procurement policy Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Frameworks and government buying routes eProcurement systems such as Jaggaer and other sourcing platforms Delivering value for money and applying HM Treasury Green Book principles to option appraisal and investment decisions Working within the Government Commercial Function (GCF) standards and commercial playbooks Supporting projects delivered using Government Digital Service (GDS) Service Standard and agile delivery principles Knowledge of the Technology Code of Practice (TCoP) and digital procurement best practice Applying Managing Public Money principles, governance and public sector controls Strong stakeholder engagement across policy, operational, digital, finance and delivery teams Producing high-quality commercial documentation, evaluation reports and governance papers CIPS, WorldCC (formerly IACCM) or equivalent commercial qualifications (desirable)If you have experience delivering commercial or procurement services within Central Government, Defence, Regulated or Secure Environments, we'd love to hear from you
