Assistant Quantity Surveyor Location: Liverpool / Manchester Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Package Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Residential Construction An established residential contractor is looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support its growing commercial team across a portfolio of residential developments throughout Liverpool and Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-3 years' experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive environment, working on new build and refurbishment projects. The Role * Assist with the commercial management of multiple residential projects. * Support subcontractor procurement and tendering. * Prepare valuations, variations and cost reports. * Help manage subcontractor accounts and payments. * Assist with final accounts and project financial reporting. * Work closely with Project Managers and Senior Quantity Surveyors. Requirements * 2-3 years' Quantity Surveying experience. * Residential construction experience preferred. * Knowledge of JCT contracts. * Strong numerical and communication skills. * Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or similar is desirable. * Full UK driving licence.
