Are you looking for a hands-on role with long-term career prospects? We are recruiting for a Construction Laboratory Technician to join a busy materials testing team based in Uxbridge.

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with full training provided, making it ideal for candidates from warehouse, production, manufacturing, construction, labouring, quality control or technical backgrounds.

Hours

\n
• Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00
\n
• Regular overtime available
\n

Pay

\n
• £12.71 per hour
\n

Duties

\n
• Preparing, handling and testing construction material samples
\n
• Working within a materials testing laboratory environment
\n
• Recording and reporting test results accurately
\n
• Following laboratory procedures and health & safety guidelines
\n
• Assisting with laboratory housekeeping and maintenance
\n
• Ensuring equipment is used correctly and maintained
\n
• Travelling to different sites when required
\n
• Working as part of a team to meet testing deadlines
\n

Essential Requirements

\n
• Full UK Driving Licence to travel between different sites as required
\n
• Good attention to detail
\n
• Reliable and punctual
\n
• Able to follow procedures and instructions
\n
• Comfortable working in a hands-on environment
\n
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
\n

Desirable

\n
• CSCS Card
\n
• Previous experience within construction, warehouse, manufacturing, quality control or laboratory environments
\n
