English Teacher – Full Time, Long-Term

North Cambridgeshire | September 2026 Start | £150 - £250 per day

REED Education are proud to be working in partnership with a Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in North Cambridgeshire to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.

The Role

\n
• Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
\n
• Plan, prepare and assess pupils' work in line with the curriculum
\n
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
\n
• Inspire students to develop their literacy skills and a passion for English
\n
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil progress
\n

The Ideal Candidate

\n
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – desirable but not essential
\n
• Candidates without QTS will be considered if they have recent UK secondary school teaching experience
\n
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
\n
• Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities
\n
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
\n
