With a modern data platform already in place and strong investment across technology, data and digital, you will shape how analytics delivers measurable commercial value across the organisation.\n

\n The Company They are a well-established UK financial services organisation with a strong heritage and a clear focus on modernisation. Significant investment has been made to transform their data and technology landscape, including the implementation of Microsoft Fabric as their enterprise data platform. With a strong Data Engineering foundation in place, the business is now focused on building a best-in-class Analytics function. This is a key hire within a high-profile transformation programme.\n

\n The Role You will lead the Analytics Centre of Excellence and embed insight-led decision making across the organisation.\n
\n
\n You will:\n
\n
    \n
  • Lead and develop the central Analytics function and Centre of Excellence
  • \n
  • Manage and grow a team of Data Analysts and Data Scientists
  • \n
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into analytical solutions
  • \n
  • Drive adoption of self-service analytics across multiple business areas
  • \n
  • Develop semantic models, dashboards and analytical products using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
  • \n
  • Deliver insight and decision-support tools rather than static reporting
  • \n
  • Support advanced analytics, predictive modelling and AI use cases
  • \n
  • Influence business strategy through clear data storytelling and actionable insight
  • \n
  • Work closely with Data Engineering while owning the Analytics roadmap
  • \n
  • Build engagement and promote a data-driven culture across the business
  • \n
\n
\n Your Skills and Experience\n
\n
    \n
  • Experience leading Analytics, Insight or BI teams
  • \n
  • Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, with clear examples of delivering measurable commercial impact
  • \n
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Power BI and data visualisation
  • \n
  • Experience developing semantic models and scalable analytics solutions
  • \n
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on driving business value through data
  • \n
  • Experience building and scaling self-service analytics capabilities
  • \n
  • Understanding of advanced analytics, modelling and AI concepts
  • \n
  • Comfortable operating strategically while remaining hands-on
  • \n
  • Experience working alongside Data Engineering teams
  • \n
  • Background in financial services or another regulated industry is beneficial
  • \n
