Employment Team Leader (Mental Health)

You will be leading the Barnet Team. This role is not formally hybrid, however, there may be occasional opportunities to work from home on a non-contractual basis, depending on business needs and diary commitments. This is a brand-new role on an exciting new IPS employment support contract with a charity that’s genuinely a great place to work. We’ve placed lots of people with them over the years who’ve gone on to develop, grow and build brilliant careers. You’ll be leading a team of seven-eight Employment Specialists who help people with health conditions get back into work, making a real difference to local lives every day.What you’ll be doing You’ll be supporting, coaching and motivating your team to deliver a high-quality service. Your week might include:\n

• Monthly supervisions, quarterly reviews and community observations
\n
• Working closely with NHS partners, Jobcentre Plus and local community groups
\n
• Helping your team build strong relationships with local employers
\n
• Making sure employment and health plans are joined up and aligned
\n
• Reviewing the service regularly against IPS fidelity standards to keep quality high
\n

We’re recruiting for a Team Leader covering the Barnet Borough. The salary scale for the role is £39,500 to £46,900 depending on experience.What they’re looking for You might be a strong Employment Advisor ready to step up into a leadership role, an experienced manager already working on another employment programme, or someone from a recruitment or support service background who knows how to motivate people to deliver great results.
