Location: RochdaleHours: Part Time – 3 days per week, 8:30am–5:00pmAdditional days may be required depending on workloadPay Rate: £22.00 per hour (CIS)

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Handyman/ Property Maintenance to join our client, a leading Build to Rent residential accommodation provider based in Rochdale. This is a part-time position offering competitive pay and ongoing work.

Property Maintenance – Job Description

The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of general maintenance and repair duties, including:

• Inspecting rooms and communal areas and reporting maintenance issues that cannot be fixed by yourself
\n
• Preparing rooms and apartments for new tenants
\n
• General handyman and reactive maintenance tasks
\n
• Repairing toilet leaks, tap leaks, and minor plumbing issues
\n
• Repairing and replacing shower heads
\n
• Basic joinery, including undercutting doors and assembling furniture
\n
• Silicone sealing in bathrooms and kitchens
\n
• Basic Electrical Work – Changing sockets and switches
\n
• Fault finding and carrying out basic repairs
\n
• Completing flush downs
\n
• Moving furniture, including beds, mattresses, and other items
\n
• Accurately reporting defects in a timely manner
\n
• Supporting the wider maintenance team as required
\n

Property Maintenance – Requirements

\n
• Proven experience as a Handyman or Maintenance Operative
\n
• Experience within property management, Build to Rent, student accommodation, or hospitality is desirable
\n
• Multi-skilled with a practical, hands-on approach
\n
• Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
\n
• Available for an immediate start
\n
