Reed Education is proud to be working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Luton seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026 until April 2027.

The Role

As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will:

• Deliver high-quality and engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
\n
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
\n
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils and support academic progress.
\n
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil attainment and development.
\n
• Establish high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
\n
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
\n

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (desirable).
\n
• Has previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
\n
• Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
\n
• Is committed to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons.
\n
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
\n
• Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
\n
