Behaviour Mentor - September Start - North London

Full-Time | Long-Term Position | North London | £100 - £130 per day

Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning?

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in North London from September. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in education, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching or support work who are looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people.

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
\n
• Supporting students who may present with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour, ADHD or Autism
\n
• Building strong, positive relationships with pupils and acting as a positive role model
\n
• Implementing behaviour strategies and interventions to improve engagement and learning outcomes
\n
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff to support pupils both academically and emotionally
\n
• Promoting positive behaviour, resilience and emotional regulation
\n

Previous experience working with children or young people

Experience as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Support Worker, Sports Coach or Mentor is highly desirable

Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD or challenging behaviour is preferred

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

A calm, patient and resilient approach

A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people and helping them reach their full potential

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Competitive daily rates of £100 – £130 per day
