\nOur client is urgently looking for an experienced Network Security Architect to join their team on a permanent basis.
\nPlease note, the role is on-site 5 days per week in Oxfordshire. There is flexible working hours and an earlier finish on a Friday. Remote working may be granted on occasion.
\nThis is a global role with an initial focus around Network segmentation. You will improve standards across the business and lead technical projects and work closely with technical colleagues and vendors.
\nThe current tech stack includes but is not limited to Fortigate, Cisco, SD-Wan and Palo Alto.

\nNetwork Security Architect – Key Skills:
\n• 10+ years hands on experience in network engineering and architecture, with at least 3+ years specialising in large-scale network segmentation
\n• 5+ years hands on experience implementing and managing industry leading network security solutions (NGFWs, NDR, SASE, CASB, WAF, NAC, ZTNA)
\n• Deep expertise in core networking technologies (SDWAN, MPLS, VPN, IPSec, VLANs etc)
\n• Detailed understanding of enterprise network transport protocols (TCP, UDP, ICMP, ARP), infrastructure protocols (DNS, DHCP, BGP, SNMP), common application protocols (SMB, RDP, HTTP, FTP etc) and security protocols (TLS/SSL, IPSec, SSH, SAML, OAuth etc)
\n• Proven history of identifying, assessing and remediating network related security risks/misconfigurations
\n• Strong technical knowledge of a Microsoft based enterprise IT infrastructure
\n• Experience as an architect or lead on large projects spanning multiple countries and cultures
\n• Background of defining security standards and processes in large corporate IT environments
\n• Working knowledge of Cyber Security frameworks/methodologies (such as NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, Lockheed Martin Kill Chain etc)
