Maths Tutor

Job Title: Maths Tutor (1:1 Support)

Location: DN14

Hours: 4 hours a week. To be held between Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm

Pay Rate: £20 - £30 per hour

Students: Year 7 Student, working below ARE

About the Role:Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated and experienced Maths tutors to provide 1:1 support to students in the Doncaster area. We work with local authorities and councils to arrange these 1:1 tuitions for students currently accessing alternative provision. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students who may require additional support to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored 1:1 tutoring session in Maths
\n
• Support students in improving academic performance and confidence
\n
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
\n
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback
\n

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

\n
• QTS (desired but not essential) or previous experience working with students on a 1:1 basis
\n
• Proven track record of improving student performance
\n
• Team Teach qualification (highly desirable, but not required)
\n
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (issued within the last year is desirable; training can be provided if needed)
\n
• DBS registered on the update service
\n

To be Eligible for this Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:

• Hold the right to work in the UK
\n
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to apply for one
\n
• Provide two professional references covering the last two years
\n
