Primary Teacher - Long-Term Opportunities | September Start
Job Description
Reed Education
\nAre you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term teaching role in Wakefield this September?
\nWhether your expertise lies in Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), or Key Stage 2 (KS2), I am currently supporting a number of highly regarded primary schools across Wakefield and the surrounding areas that are looking to secure talented teachers for long-term positions.
\nHaving built strong relationships with local schools, I work closely with Headteachers and Senior Leadership Teams who are committed to creating supportive environments where teachers can thrive, develop professionally, and make a genuine difference to children's learning and development.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for teachers seeking stability, career progression, and the chance to become an integral part of a school community.
Why Consider a Long-Term Teaching Role?\nUnlike day-to-day supply, long-term positions allow you to:
\n- \n
- Build meaningful relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents \n
- Deliver engaging lessons and see the impact of your teaching over time \n
- Become part of a supportive school team \n
- Gain valuable experience that strengthens your CV and future career prospects \n
- Enjoy greater consistency and stability throughout the academic year \n
I am currently recruiting for:
\n- \n
- Long-term Primary Teacher roles starting in September \n
- EYFS Teacher positions \n
- Key Stage 1 Teacher roles \n
- Key Stage 2 Teacher roles \n
- Full-time and part-time opportunities \n
- Roles across Wakefield and nearby areas \n
- Positions within a variety of school settings, including small community schools, academies, and larger primary schools \n
To be considered, you will ideally have:
\n- \n
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) \n
- Experience teaching within UK primary schools \n
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum \n
- Excellent classroom management skills \n
- A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach \n
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential \n
- The ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment \n
Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs who are looking to secure the right opportunity for the next stage of their career.
Why Work With Me?\nRecruitment should be personal.
\nMy approach is simple: I take the time to get to know every teacher I work with so I can match them with schools where they will genuinely succeed and feel valued.
\nRather than sending your CV everywhere, I'll have an honest conversation about:
\n- \n
- The year groups you enjoy teaching \n
- The type of school environment that suits you \n
- Your career goals and aspirations \n
- Your preferred commute and working pattern \n
My aim is to find the right role, not just the next role.
Why Reed Education?\nWhen you register with Reed Education, you'll benefit from:
\n- \n
- Competitive rates of pay \n
- Access to exclusive teaching vacancies across Wakefield and West Yorkshire \n
- Dedicated support throughout the recruitment process \n
- Interview preparation and CV guidance \n
- Regular communication and ongoing career support \n
- Opportunities in schools that are not always advertised publicly \n
As someone who works closely with primary schools across Wakefield every day, I understand that finding your next teaching role is about far more than salary or location. It's about finding a school where you feel supported, respected, and able to do what you do best.
\nIf you're looking for a long-term teaching position where you can make a lasting impact and become part of a welcoming school community, I'd love to speak with you.
Apply Today\nIf you're a Primary Teacher, EYFS Teacher, KS1 Teacher, KS2 Teacher, ECT, or Qualified Teacher seeking a long-term opportunity in Wakefield, apply today or get in touch for a confidential discussion about current vacancies.
\nLet's find a school where you can truly thrive this September.
