\nThe Software Engineer role will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, is passionate about technology, and takes pride in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. The role will also encompass supporting a small number of legacy software applications on other platforms.
\n\nResponsibilities
\nDesign, implement, and test secure software solutions according to project requirements, typically Azure Functions in .NET/C#.
\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, QA, etc.) to deliver high-quality products.
\nWrite clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
\nTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
\nParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
\nStay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
\n\nExperience needed
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with stakeholders.
\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
\nProfessional and discreet, always maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
\nProactive and adaptable, able to work on own initiative and respond flexibly to changing demands.
\nStrong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and respond to business needs in a fast-paced environment.
\nExperience with cloud platforms; specifically Azure.
\nFamiliarity with Agile practices and CI/CD pipelines.
\nKnowledge of containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
