Engineering Manager (mobile team)

UK Remote, to £100k + bonus + equity

A high-growth, B Corp-certified B2C marketplace with an impressive brand presence is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead their mobile experience squad. This is in the team that The squad that owns the app's core user journey.

You'll line-manage a cross-functional team, report to the VP of Engineering, and sit within an established leadership group. Your PM counterpart is a peer, not a client, you'll co-own the roadmap and share accountability for outcomes, not just delivery.

Day to day: running lean experiments, using DORA metrics to guide delivery, weighing technical trade-offs across the stack, and developing your engineers through proper 1:1s, PDPs, and performance conversations.

Stack: React, React Native, Next.js, Python/Django, AWS.

What we're looking for:

2+ years as an EM — people leadership isn't optional here

Senior engineering background — you can challenge technical decisions without needing to be hands-on

B2C experience, ideally acquisition, growth, or conversion

Confidence owning trade-offs and explaining them to non-technical stakeholders

Comfortable with AI tooling in a dev context (Copilot, LLMs)

On offer: £100k base (reviewed twice yearly), 10% discretionary quarterly bonus, generous equity, Bupa health & dental, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + Christmas closure, fully remote UK with quarterly meetups, and a £500/year travel or co-working budget.
