\n\nThe opportunity:
\nJoin our Client's Caterpillar's production team as an Inventory Counter, a key role responsible for the precise counting of production material across all product lines. You will be crucial in maintaining inventory accuracy by supporting Cycle/Test count programs, performing outgoing counts, and resolving discrepancy counts.

- Day Shift : (Mon - Thur), (Fri) \n
- Overtime Monday to Saturday - £25.34 p/h \n
- Overtime Sunday - £ 33.78 p/h \n
Key Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Perform physical counting of material across the entire site. \n
- Manage the count process within Glovia, including raising a count and producing a count card. \n
- Accurately read the count card to identify which areas require counting and the number of parts recorded at each location. \n
- Physically audit the plant area, checking machines for parts already fitted or subbed-up, and adjusting the total figure on the count card. \n
- Count parts at production, fully audit the area for any hidden material, and visit all locations on the count card, ensuring tag match against any existing tags. \n
- Add all quantities together and check totals. A level count can be closed, but any discrepancy must be handed over to the Team Leader (TL) for first-stage reconciliation. \n
- Carry out location/store audits and receipt counting as required. \n
- Adhere to the company's Health & Safety policy and safe working practices. \n

Required Qualifications
\n- \n
- A good level of literacy and numeracy skills Self-motivated with a high level of attention to detail. \n
- Ability to communicate and liaise with all levels of the organisation and work effectively within a team environment. \n
- Good computer literacy, specifically on Microsoft Excel. \n
- Possess knowledge of Material Logistics/Material Control processes and systems. \n
- Required experience with ERP/Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). \n
- Excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting skills. \n
Desired Qualifications
\n- \n
- Knowledge of the Glovia systems and Logistic transactions. \n
- Ability to read Engineering Drawings. \n
- SAP knowledge/experience would be beneficial. \n
