We're seeking dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and additional SEND requirements, including Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people who require patience, understanding, consistency, and a therapeutic approach to learning.

The Role

No two days are the same. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting teaching and learning across the school
\n
• Working 1:1 and with small groups of pupils
\n
• Supporting children with SEMH and additional SEND needs
\n
• Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation
\n
• Helping pupils develop social skills and confidence
\n
• Managing classroom resources and learning environments
\n
• Supporting educational visits and enrichment activities
\n
• Encouraging engagement, independence, and personal development
\n
• Creating engaging displays and learning materials
\n
• Celebrating achievements and positive progress
\n
• Participating in therapeutic training and reflective practice sessions
\n
