\nWe are recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established manufacturing business in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical maintenance professional to join a stable site where you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and availability of production machinery and site services.
Job Role\nAs a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across a busy manufacturing environment. You will be working on a range of automated production machinery and electrical systems, diagnosing faults and ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard.
\nThe role will involve electrical fault finding, planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response, continuous improvement and supporting the ongoing reliability of the site.
\nNon-Negotiable Requirements for the Maintenance Electrician:
\n- \n
- Completed a recognised Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification. \n
- Strong electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing, industrial or automated environment. \n
- Experience with electrical fault finding and maintenance of industrial machinery. \n
- Comfortable working a days and nights shift pattern. \n
- Able to work independently and respond effectively to breakdowns. \n
Requirements for the Maintenance Electrician:

- Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance. \n
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics. \n
- Experience with fault finding on industrial electrical systems. \n
- Good understanding of electrical control systems. \n
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance. \n
- Previous experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. \n
Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Electrician:
\n- \n
- Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery. \n
- Knowledge of automation and control systems. \n
- Experience with continuous improvement and root cause analysis. \n
- Additional mechanical maintenance experience would be advantageous. \n
