Executive Assistant to the CEO
Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant to the CEO to join a leading UK charity . The successful postholder will provide comprehensive executive support to the CEO, while also supporting the Chair and Board of Trustees to ensure the smooth running of governance, leadership, and organisational activities.

\nJob Responsibilities:

- Provide proactive executive support to the CEO, including complex diary and inbox management and prioritisation of key activities \n
- Prepare and coordinate agendas, reports, presentations, briefing papers, correspondence, and other documentation \n
- Act as a key point of contact on behalf of the CEO, building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders \n
- Arrange travel, accommodation, and manage associated expenses \n
- Support Senior Management Team meetings, away days, forums, and events, including minute-taking and follow-up of actions \n
- Coordinate Board and Committee meetings, preparing agendas, papers, minutes, and governance documentation \n
- Maintain governance records, including Trustee registers, training records, conflict of interest declarations, and DBS compliance documentation \n
- Support organisational compliance and regulatory processes, including reporting requirements and risk management activities \n
- Maintain accurate filing systems and identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiencies \n
- Provide project and administrative support on key organisational initiatives as required \n
Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Proven experience supporting senior leaders as an Executive Assistant within a busy and high-profile environment \n
- Exceptional diary, inbox, and stakeholder management skills \n
- Experience supporting Boards, Committees, or governance functions \n
- Strong minute-taking and report-writing abilities \n
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels \n
- High levels of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail \n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and digital collaboration platforms \n
