Financial Controller

£75,000 + benefits (negotiable)

Our client is a well-established UK travel organisation, looking to appoint a Financial Controller.

Reporting into the Finance Director, this is an opportunity to step into a broad and highly visible leadership role, taking ownership of the finance function while helping shape the future direction of the business.

Working alongside the senior leadership team, you'll lead a small finance team, oversee all financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, improve systems and processes and play a key role in commercial decision making.

• Lead and develop a finance team of three
\n
• Own monthly management accounts and Board reporting
\n
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cashflow
\n
• Manage audit, statutory accounts and tax compliance
\n
• Oversee treasury and foreign currency management
\n
• Improve finance systems and reporting (Business Central)
\n
• Business partner senior stakeholders across the organisation
\n
• Drive process improvements and automation
\n

We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with previous Financial Controller experience within the travel sector.

You'll ideally have experience of:

• Tour Operator accounting

• TOMS VAT
\n
• ABTA / CAA reporting
\n
• Multi-currency finance
\n
• Leading finance teams
\n
• Business Central (advantageous)
\n
