The business provides integrated consultancy services across the built environment, delivering projects from concept through to completion. Their Building Services division works on a diverse portfolio of developments across sectors including defence, healthcare, education, residential, commercial and public sector, providing sustainable and technically robust Mechanical and Electrical design solutions. With continued growth across the business, they are looking to appoint an experienced Associate Mechanical Engineer to help lead the Mechanical Building Services team, manage key client relationships and drive the successful delivery of complex engineering projects.The Role As an Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key leadership role within the Winchester MEP team, managing projects from initial concept through to completion while leading and mentoring a team of engineers and technicians. You'll work closely with clients, architects, contractors and other design disciplines, taking responsibility for project delivery, commercial performance and technical excellence across a varied portfolio of building services projects.Responsibilities\n

- Lead Mechanical Building Services projects across multiple sectors. \n
- Manage and coordinate Mechanical design teams throughout all project stages. \n
- Act as the lead Mechanical Engineer, delivering concept through to detailed design. \n
- Develop Mechanical Building Services designs, specifications and technical reports. \n
- Produce and review calculations, drawings and design documentation. \n
- Manage project programmes, resources, budgets and commercial performance. \n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders. \n
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors and other consultants. \n
- Mentor, develop and support junior engineers and technicians. \n
- Ensure projects comply with current legislation, Building Regulations and industry standards. \n
- Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the Building Services team. \n

- Significant experience within Mechanical Building Services Design. \n
- Consultancy or contractor design experience. \n
- Experience leading multidisciplinary MEP projects. \n
- Strong client-facing and project management skills. \n
- Commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and risk. \n
- HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. \n
- Working towards or already achieved IEng or CEng status. \n
- Experience using industry-standard design software, including Revit and CAD. \n
- Excellent communication and leadership skills. \n
- A proactive approach with a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions. \n
