The Opportunity As a Baby Room Leader, you will play an important role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing while helping to create engaging experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. You'll be joining a nursery where staff are genuinely valued, professional development is encouraged, and teamwork is at the heart of everything they do. Key Responsibilities * Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) * Observe, assess and monitor children's progress and development * Maintain accurate learning records and contribute to individual learning plans * Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where children can thrive * Support children's emotional wellbeing, social development and positive behaviour * Build strong partnerships with parents and carers through regular communication and updates * Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education * Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times * Support daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting and sleep routines where appropriate * Contribute to outdoor learning experiences and enrichment activities What We're Looking For * Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential) * Previous experience working within an Early Years setting * Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) * Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Positive, caring and professional approach * Ability to work effectively as part of a team * Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one What's On Offer * £13.53 per hour * Full-time, permanent position * 41 hours per week with a 1 hour paid lunch break to be taken on the premises * Shifts are 4 days a week (8am to 6pm & 1 early start of 7am to 6pm per week) * Supportive and experienced leadership team * Ongoing training and professional development opportunities * Pension scheme and employee benefits * Positive team culture with strong staff support * Opportunity to join a nursery with an excellent local reputation If you are a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner looking for a rewarding role within a supportive, well-resourced nursery, we would love to hear from you.
