Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst Location: London Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team covering London and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified professional looking to join a respected consultancy offering a balanced mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial and mixed-use environments. THE ROLE As an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will carry out both surveying and analytical duties across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties throughout London. Working independently and as part of an experienced team, you will deliver high-quality asbestos services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264 * Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, leak testing, smoke testing, and reassurance sampling * Working across commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties * Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports * Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams * Managing your own workload effectively across multiple client sites * Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent) * Experience working in a dual Surveyor / Analyst role * Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements * Ability to manage your workload independently * Full UK driving licence * Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills * Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work WHAT'S ON OFFER * £40,000 - £45,000 salary (depending on experience) * Company vehicle provided * Commercial and mixed-use site work * Structured workload with clear planning * Supportive management and strong technical backing * Permanent, long-term position with a respected consultancy If you are interested in this role, contact Joel Bland on (phone number removed) or email
