Lamination Operative

Job Title: Laminator Location: Stone, Staffordshire Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive (DOE) + Overtime Available Laminator We are currently recruiting for an experienced Laminator to join a well-established manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a skilled production team, working on high-quality composite products in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have previous laminating experience, a strong eye for detail, and a commitment to producing work to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities * Prepare moulds and materials for the laminating process. * Lay up fibreglass, carbon fibre, or composite materials to specification. * Apply resins, adhesives, and reinforcing materials using the correct techniques. * Trim, finish, and inspect completed components. * Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions. * Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment. * Adhere to all company Health & Safety procedures. * Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet production targets. Requirements * Previous experience as a Laminator, GRP Laminator, Composite Laminator, or Fibreglass Laminator. * Experience working with composite materials and hand lay-up techniques. * Good attention to detail and quality standards. * Ability to read technical drawings and specifications. * Good manual dexterity and practical skills. * Able to work independently and as part of a team. * Flexible approach to overtime when required. Desirable Skills * Experience with vacuum bagging or resin infusion processes. * Composite manufacturing background. * Understanding of quality control procedures. * Counterbalance forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
