In this role, you will: %CF; Oversee all aspects of the residential children’s home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained. %CF; Lead, inspire, and manage a dedicated team of staff, providing supervision, guidance, and support. %CF; Develop and implement individual care and behaviour plans, along with risk assessments for each child, ensuring their needs are effectively met. %CF; Maintain effective communication with children, families, external agencies, and professionals involved in their care. %CF; Ensure compliance with relevant Ofsted legislation, regulations, and safeguarding procedures. %CF; Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently. %CF; Promote a positive and inclusive environment that values diversity and respects the rights of children and young people. %CF; Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery, implementing improvements as necessary. We’re looking for someone who: %CF; Has proven experience as a Registered Manager within a residential children’s home setting. %CF; Consistent Good or Outstanding Ofsted Judgements. %CF; Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (preferred). %CF; Level 3 /4 in Children and Young People’s Workforce (essential). %CF; Sound knowledge of Ofsted legislation, regulations, and best practices in childcare. %CF; Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. %CF; A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
