Stores & Despatch Operative - Full-Time, Permanent (Temp-to-Perm Considered) Salary: £28,000 per year Location: Colchester Monday-Thursday: 8:00-17:00 Friday: 8:00-12:00About the Opportunity Our client, is looking for a motivated and organised Stores & Despatch Operative to join their friendly team in Colchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a key operational area within a small, supportive team. Key Responsibilities Goods In Management - receiving deliveries, checking items, and storing parts correctly. Order Preparation - packaging and preparing spare‑part orders for dispatch. Courier Coordination - arranging collections and entering shipment details into carrier systems. Warehouse Organisation - maintaining a tidy, safe, and efficient workshop and warehouse environment. Issue Resolution - liaising with carriers and suppliers to resolve delivery or collection issues. Skills & Experience Accuracy and attention to detail. Physical fitness to handle manual tasks. Workload organisation and the ability to prioritise effectively. Team integration - friendly, reliable, and happy to support colleagues. Experience in warehousing or a similar environment is beneficial but not essential.
