Industrial Electrician Colchester, Essex £26.00 - £28.00 per Hour Immediate Start – Week Commencing 20th July 6 Weeks Minimum – Potential for Ongoing Work Up to 12-Hour Days Available Anglian Recruitment are currently recruiting for 2 Industrial Electricians to join a specialist electrical engineering project based in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Industrial Electricians with a strong background in machine wiring, control panels and industrial automation systems. The initial project is expected to run for approximately 6 weeks, with the potential for further work for the right individuals. Duties & Responsibilities: * Industrial electrical installation work * Panel wiring and control panel modifications * Machine wiring and equipment installation * Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams * Installation and termination of control wiring * Working with relays, contactors and PLC-controlled equipment * Electrical testing, fault finding and commissioning support * Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard Requirements: * ECS or JIB Gold Card preferred * Previous experience as an Industrial Electrician * Strong understanding of panel wiring and machine wiring * Ability to read and work from electrical drawings and schematics * Knowledge of relays, contactors and PLC-based control systems * Industrial, manufacturing or automation experience preferred * Full UK Driving Licence advantageous What's On Offer: * £26.00 - £28.00 per hour * Up to 12-hour days available * Overtime opportunities * Potential digs allowance for candidates working away from home * Minimum 6-week contract with the opportunity for ongoing work * Immediate start available from the week commencing 20th July This role would suit an experienced Industrial Electrician looking for a well-paid contract with long working hours available and the opportunity to work on specialist industrial and automation equipment.
