HGV Technician (Nights) Location: Doncaster Salary: £49,100 per annum (£22.50 per hour) Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off | 18:00 – 06:30 Job Type: Permanent Questech Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Technician to join their busy workshop in Doncaster. The Role As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles, ensuring they are safe, roadworthy, and operating to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities * Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs. * Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults. * Complete inspections and preventative maintenance. * Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections. * Accurately complete all job cards and workshop documentation. * Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures. What We're Looking For * NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (preferred). * Semi-skilled HGV Technicians with relevant workshop experience will also be considered. * Experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles. * Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills. * A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
