Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Planned Maintenance We are working with a well-established planned maintenance main contractor that has secured a 10-year, £40 million framework with Birmingham City Council. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. Working alongside an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll support the commercial delivery of planned maintenance works across occupied social housing, including: * Kitchen & bathroom replacements * External refurbishment programmes * Roofing works and replacements * General planned maintenance and property upgrades The Role * Assist with cost reporting, valuations and final accounts * Manage subcontractor payments and variations * Support procurement and commercial administration * Work closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget Requirements * Previous experience as an Assistant or Graduate Quantity Surveyor * Experience within planned maintenance, refurbishment, social housing or construction * Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach What's on Offer * £40,000 - £45,000 salary * Competitive benefits package * 8% employer pension contribution * Long-term job security on a 10-year framework * Excellent career progression with a leading contractor If you're looking to develop your career with a market-leading contractor on a long-term social housing framework, we'd love to hear from you
