Facade Manager

Job Title: Façade Manager Location: London Company: Tier 1 Main Contractor Job Overview: A leading Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced Façade Manager to join their team delivering a major construction project in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a façade professional with strong experience managing complex façade packages on large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all façade works from design coordination through to completion, ensuring quality, programme, and safety standards are maintained. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the full façade package from pre-construction through to final handover. * Coordinate façade subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure successful delivery. * Monitor progress against programme, identifying risks and implementing recovery strategies where required. * Review drawings, specifications, design information, and technical submissions. * Ensure façade installations meet project requirements, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. * Carry out regular inspections, snagging, and quality checks, managing NCRs where required. * Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives to resolve technical issues. * Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements, RAMS, and site procedures. * Attend progress meetings and provide updates on programme, quality, and performance. * Maintain accurate project records and documentation. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Façade Manager working for a main contractor or specialist façade contractor. * Strong background delivering façade packages on large-scale projects. * Experience with systems such as unitised curtain walling, brick slip, cladding, windows, SFS, rainscreen, and associated façade elements. * Strong understanding of façade sequencing, installation methods, and quality requirements. * Excellent communication and coordination skills. * Ability to manage subcontractors and drive project delivery. * Relevant construction qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid preferred).
