Workshop Engineer

Colchester 💼 Full-time | Permanent 💰 £30-35K per annum Nolan Recruitment are recruiting a Workshop Engineer on behalf of one of their growing clients based in Colchester. 🔧 The Role: * Assembly and build of specialist equipment * Testing and inspection of systems (training provided) * Carrying out repair and overhaul work including strip-down, rebuild and testing * Supporting general workshop operations, including goods in/out * Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety and compliance 👤 The Candidate: * Mechanical or engineering background (NVQ, apprenticeship or equivalent) * Experience working in a workshop or assembly environment * Basic electrical knowledge beneficial * Self-motivated with good attention to detail * Able to work independently and meet deadlines * IT literate (MS Office) Desirable: * Forklift experience * Experience working with mechanical systems ⏰ Benefits: * Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week * 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays * Ongoing training and development * Employee wellbeing focus, including regular team activities and positive working culture If you have experience working in a similar role, please apply today
