Time: Monday to Sunday, time may vary Location: CO15 (Colchester) Job description: Full job description: Our client is seeking experienced, compassionate, and reliable Support Workers / Carers to provide high-quality, person-centred support a young person diagnosed complex care needs including polymicrogyria, microcephaly, epilepsy, central apnoea and developmental delay Key Responsibilities: * Support to engage in meaningful, varied activities and prevent boredom. * Full assistance with daily living tasks and safe positioning. * Support with personal care and daily living tasks as required, ensuring dignity and respect. * Skilled support to ensure safe transfers, correct posture, and safe feeding. Requirements: * Minimum of 6 months’ experience as a Support Worker, Carer, or Healthcare Assistant. * Carer must be PEG Trained - This is Mandatory * A calm, patient, and empathetic approach. * Excellent observation and communication skills. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
