Mechanical Supervisor

Mechanical Supervisor - Central London £300-£350 per day (Outside IR35) | Long-Term Contract - 12 months + We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a leading M&E contractor delivering a flagship commercial fit-out project in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile development, taking responsibility for the supervision of full mechanical building services packages, including HVAC, pipework, plant rooms and BMS installations. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving quality, safety, and programme performance throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all mechanical installation activities on site Oversee the delivery of full mechanical building services packages, including HVAC, pipework, plant rooms and BMS works Manage subcontractors and direct labour to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification Monitor daily progress and report updates to the Mechanical Site Manager and Project Team Ensure compliance with all health & safety procedures, RAMS, and site standards Conduct quality inspections and oversee snagging and defect resolution Coordinate labour, materials, plant, and logistics to maintain project momentum Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams Review drawings and technical information to ensure works are installed correctly Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and quality documentation Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial fit-out or building services projects Strong technical knowledge of full mechanical building services packages, including HVAC, pipework, plant rooms and BMS installations SSSTS or SMSTS certification Valid CSCS Card Excellent leadership and communication skills Experience managing subcontractors on fast-paced commercial projects Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction programmes What's on Offer £300-£350 per day (Outside IR35) Long-term contract on a flagship commercial fit-out project in Central London Opportunity to work with a leading M&E contractor Exposure to a major commercial development with a substantial mechanical package Supportive project team and excellent pipeline of future work If you're an experienced Mechanical Supervisor looking for your next long-term contract in Central London, we'd like to hear from you.
