Electrical Supervisor

Electrical Supervisor – Residential Project (8-week Contract) Location: Bristol Duration: 8 weeks Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Freelance / CIS / Limited Company (as applicable) We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical works on a residential development for an 8 Week contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-organised project in its final stages, supervising the completion of high-quality installations. Key Responsibilities * Supervise electricians and subcontractors carrying out second fix electrical installations. * Coordinate and oversee the completion of a plant room, ensuring all works are completed to specification. * Ensure work is carried out safely and in accordance with current regulations and project standards. * Monitor quality, productivity, and programme to keep works on schedule. * Conduct daily site inspections and toolbox talks. * Coordinate with the site management team and other trades to ensure efficient project delivery. * Review drawings and identify any issues before installation. * Ensure all snagging items are completed and signed off. * Support testing, commissioning, and project handover. Requirements * Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on residential construction projects. * Strong knowledge of second fix installations and plant room electrical systems. * Valid ECS Gold Card (or equivalent). * SSSTS or SMSTS certification. * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. * Excellent communication and leadership skills. * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining programme deadlines. Desirable * First Aid at Work qualification. * Experience managing finishing and handover phases of residential developments. * Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).
